Positive: Location (not only the view but whole remoteness of this site), sauna, general vibe of this place like an apreski. Rooms are clean. Bathrooms are shared for all but quite clean. Workable wifi.
Negative: This is NOT a dislike list as other comments have covered it well: but here are a few things you MUST know before coming to avoid confusion. This is not a usual hotel. Parking is downhill and this place is accessible only by cable car, hotel shuttle or by foot. even though this place shows right on google maps.Drive up the hill is not allowed as the area is a national park. Can be tricky for first time comers. Please arrive before 1600 hr. Note that communication and phonecall with the owner is limited. You may miss some crucial info such as above. But hope the readers pay attention. Once i was here, things were normal and not dramatic. interaction was decent with the staff. The young member in the group (forgot his name, quite tall) was quite modest and would diligently offer snacks and prepare sauna. Third, if you Are coming in summer, dont expect luxuries of a la carte food. Not denying the food made by owner/chef is fantastic in itself, one should be aware. My experience was alright overall.

Positive: Visited during summertime. Amazing place, interior is fantastic and feels like “home“, the views are stunning and nice hikes around. The rooms are simple but add there is access to lounge areas and such, it just adds on to the positive side of the experience. The staff were great, really service minded and helpful! Loved absolutely everything around it and this was the accommodation that we will remember the most from our two week trip with new stay every day! Some activity areas on the top of the mountain, well suited for kids, approximately 15-30 minutes easy walk. We missed out on reading the description so missed that you either had to be picked up by the staff or walk from the parking lot (free, at least in the summer) at the base of the mountain. My kids were a bit devastated when telling them that we had to walk up there but ended up being a great experience for us all! Took us around an hour and was an easy climb. In the way down we closed a more challenging trail, that starts just outside the property and it was also a great hike.
Summary: Overall a great experience, would love to visit again and also in the winter! Will definitely be a great memory for both
